Join the Server“What kind of relationship?” Nanaya frowned slightly, as if the other was joking. “We’re just simple superiors and subordinates. I’m the acting bishop, and you’re the temporary dean.”
“Then,” Menglinna’s face was bright red, “even if you are my superior, you can’t just use your authority to take advantage of me like that!”
Nanaya didn’t look at her. She just pulled out a tissue to wipe her mouth and said slowly, “You’d better get used to it.”
“You!”
Too lazy to argue with Menglinna, Nanaya simply got up and left.
To be honest, she quite enjoyed the shy expression on Miss Trash’s face. Although it was completely different from the gentle older sister in her memories, it was still delicious.
After teasing Miss Trash, Nanaya couldn’t help but look for Flame Evil God. “Speaking of which, you were chattering in my head the whole time, but now that I actually made a move on her, why are you silent?”
The tattoo on Nanaya’s hand grew slightly warm. Flame Evil God blinked and said discontentedly, “I had no idea you were groping her. At most, I can hear sounds from outside. I can’t sync with your vision or touch… So you really did it?”
“Just a touch.”
Nanaya reached out and grasped at the air, as if simulating the sensation.
“Soft?”
“Secret.”
“Tch,” Flame Evil God made a displeased sound. “Are you that bored? Looking for entertainment from me?”
“Not really,” Nanaya opened the door and quickly scanned her room. “I’m just a bit unsure. What do you think our relationship is now?”
Menglinna’s quilt was casually thrown on the sofa. She had slept under it last night. Since escaping the monastery, she had abandoned the rules that had constrained her since childhood – for instance, she almost never folded her bedding. But considering this quilt wasn’t her personal property, she made an exception and folded it neatly.
“Do you like her?”
Before ‘that incident,’ Nanaya would have definitely nodded. But before they formed an adventuring party, she would have shaken her head. Now, however, she could neither nod nor shake her head.
In that small compartment that day, Menglinna had shattered all her beautiful illusions. On the other hand, she was still the same person – seemingly so gentle – and now she was humbly begging for forgiveness.
‘I can’t say for sure. Before, she was like an angel, radiating a gentle glow…’
Flame Evil God wiped imaginary sweat. “It sounds like you’re mourning a deceased wife.”
Nanaya rolled her eyes. “If only she were dead. She’s nothing like before now.”
“But still usable, right? That’s what you mean?”
“What do you mean by ‘usable’?”
Nanaya frowned at the goddess’s words.
“Anyway, didn’t you say she had her reasons back then? I think you still like her, just haven’t found a reason to.”
“Reasons? She saved me twice. I have every reason to forgive her.”
“Forgiveness and liking aren’t the same thing…”
Flame Evil God, wanting to see the fun, couldn’t help but say, “Since you’re so conflicted, why not savor her beauty?”
“Savor her beauty?”
Nanaya had no idea what that meant.
“Oh, it’s what I said before!” Flame Evil God repeated. “Just go up and screw her. You’ll understand after you finish.”
It was the same old spiel. Nanaya was angered into laughter.
How stupid of me to consult a goddess who only had two women in her brain chattering about relationship issues.
After folding the quilt, Nanaya sat at her desk. No adventuring today, and the church didn’t need to open. She had the whole day off. Logically, she should use this opportunity for her own investigation or, failing that, find a chance to have Flame Evil God forge that damned juvenile remains. But…
The doorknob turned with a sound. Menglinna entered the room and stood behind Nanaya.
Facing Nanaya’s back, Menglinna said directly, “Since there’s nothing to do today, I want to go to the hospital to see if I can find a way to deal with the vampire transformation.”
“Of course. Actually, this is entirely your personal business. You don’t need to report to me, unless…”
Nanaya stood up, turned around, and stared into Menglinna’s eyes. “Unless you want to invite me to go with you?”
“What are you talking about? Acting like I’m looking forward to going with you,” Menglinna looked away awkwardly. “Didn’t you say we were superiors and subordinates? As your subordinate, I need to report my schedule to you, right?”
“…”
Dissatisfied with the answer, Nanaya glanced at her, then sat back down. “Indeed, as a subordinate, you must report your entire itinerary to me. So…”
“So?”
“So tell me, when is your next self-pleasure schedule?”
