Join the ServerShihan fell to the ground, dead. It all happened in a flash.
Chen Lin felt the world spinning around him. The strong electric shock had damaged his senses. He could only vaguely see Shihan collapse.
Before he could understand what had happened, the blade piercing his chest told him exactly what had just occurred.
Pain stimulated his nerves and brain, bringing him back to some clarity.
Through his blurry vision, he thought he saw Yan. Her face seemed to be crying.
Before he could think more, he felt a tearing pain in his throat. Then everything went black, and he knew nothing more.

He was deep in darkness. In that environment, he struggled to find a glimmer of light. Chen Lin snapped his eyes open.
This suffocating, claustrophobic pressure was not new to him. He immediately realized he must have just died.
He wasn’t used to it, so he started panting heavily. There was no wound on his neck, but his muscles still ached faintly.
The dim light in the room and the musty smell unique to basements told Chen Lin that this was not his room.
He moved his eyes to check the room. Sure enough, it wasn’t his room. He was now in a basement.
In front of him, Shihan and Yan were arguing about something.
Now Chen Lin confirmed one thing: the time point after death wasn’t fixed. It could change.
But what exactly triggered the change? He still didn’t know.
His initial guess was that it had to do with the passage of time. Maybe when time moved forward to a certain point, the return point updated.
That was probably the most likely scenario. It wasn’t impossible that the return point was random, but that seemed less likely. Because so far, the return point kept moving forward. If it could jump backward, then randomness would be possible.
The situation was a mess. Chen Lin closed his eyes. He needed some time to digest what was happening.
As before, Shihan and Yan were confronting each other in front of him. It seemed he had gone back to the moment right after the sack was untied.
He moved his tongue. Because Shihan’s delicate stockings were in his mouth, he couldn’t speak.
Now the question was: how exactly did he die?
He tried hard to remember. It seemed he wasn’t electrocuted to death by Shihan. Instead, he was killed by Yan with a weapon.
While he was racking his brains, Shihan and Yan continued arguing.
“Looks like no matter what I say, you won’t listen, right?” Shihan said with a hint of contempt toward Yan.
“Same to you. Why don’t you leave now?” Yan responded, a trace of anger on her face.
Tension was high.
Chen Lin didn’t plan to interfere in their heated argument. As he expected, Yan and Shihan soon stopped arguing and both turned their eyes to him.
“Since we can’t come to a conclusion, why not let big brother choose?” Yan suggested with a smile.
Shihan nodded lightly, seemingly in agreement. “That makes some sense.”
As Chen Lin predicted, Shihan reached out her hand and used her index and middle fingers to pull the stockings out of his mouth. The originally pristine stockings were now covered in Chen Lin’s saliva.
Shihan spread the stockings, and even viscous, transparent saliva dripped down.
“How disgusting. You weren’t sucking on them, were you?” Shihan said to Chen Lin.
Because his throat was uncomfortable, Chen Lin coughed forcefully a few times before retorting, “No, it’s just saliva produced by the body’s natural instinct.”
Yan immediately spoke up for him. “See? Big brother isn’t interested in your stinky stockings. Only perverts would want to suck on them.”
Shihan, mocked by Yan, didn’t get angry. Instead, she retorted bluntly, “Short-sighted. Don’t compare my stockings to your stinky socks. My stockings have absolutely no odor, and the price of this pair could buy a cartload of the socks you’re wearing now.”
In front of Chen Lin, Shihan and Yan started bickering again over trivial matters.
But soon, both of them turned their attention back to Chen Lin.
Yan used her delicate index finger to gently tap Chen Lin’s nose, then said in a sweet voice, “Now it’s time for big brother to choose. Do you choose me to accompany you tonight, or someone else?”
Shihan, not to be outdone, unbuttoned the top button of her collar, revealing the elegant curve of her collarbone, and vaguely showing the arch of her chest.
“Compared to being with a kid, being with me is obviously more interesting.” Shihan leaned close to Chen Lin’s ear, speaking softly and flirtatiously, her charm unmistakable.
Now the choice was in Chen Lin’s hands again.
Last time, he chose Shihan, which led to a bad outcome. He didn’t want that. What he wanted was to escape safely, with Shihan and Yan sincerely repenting.
So after ruling out Shihan, he seemed to have no choice but to choose Yan.
But honestly, Chen Lin didn’t want to choose Yan. Counting this return, she had killed him three times already.
Even if Yan looked as cute as an angel, at this moment Chen Lin only thought she was a demon wearing an angel’s skin.
He hoped that this time, by choosing Yan, he could successfully escape alive.
“Yan… you stay…” Chen Lin said.
“Great~” Yan excitedly hugged his neck and tried to kiss his cheek. “Mu~”
But facing such a good thing, Chen Lin acted as if he’d seen a ghost. He immediately turned his head away, not daring to let Yan actually kiss him, causing her to miss.
Even though Chen Lin dodged her kiss, Yan wasn’t angry at all. She was overjoyed.
After all, she had been chosen by Chen Lin. That meant she was more important in his heart than Shihan.
