Join the ServerHigh above in the sky, two streaks of light blazed past, their speeds perfectly matched.
As Aivia soared, a sense of alarm grew within her. This was the first time she had encountered a human capable of matching her speed in the sky.
Evidently, she needed to take this more seriously.
In a flash, a crimson glow surged around Aivia, transforming her into a streak of blood-red light. Her speed increased dramatically, far beyond a mere fraction.
Behind her, Lilia struggled, feeling the strain. Her ability to fly was not innate; it relied entirely on her magic, making it a considerable challenge to contend with Aivia.
Just then, a flash of white light erupted from the ground, soaring like a streaking arrow directly towards the crimson blur.
Lilia’s eyes brightened at the sight. It seemed someone from the academy had intervened. She immediately moved, rushing towards that direction with her utmost speed.
As Lilia drew closer, a graceful figure materialized beneath the white streak of light, coming into her view.
The young woman’s silver-white ponytail swayed in the wind, its tips a deep blue. Her face was serene and cold, like a distant ice mountain.
“Student, you have violated Theoviga Academy’s flight regulations. Please cease your flight immediately and accompany me.”
The elegant figure blocked Aivia’s path, her massive, ice-blue dragon wings beating behind her, subtly radiating an aura that bordered on the Fourth Tier.
Upon seeing this individual, Aivia showed no inclination to retreat. Instead, she merely changed direction and continued her flight.
Eliza’s golden dragon eyes narrowed, and the temperature of the surrounding air plummeted instantly, causing frost to bloom in the atmosphere.
“I warn you again, do not be so stubborn!”
The frigid voice echoed across the entire academy. While veteran students were accustomed to such displays, the newcomers, unfamiliar with this spectacle, stopped in their tracks and gazed upwards.
With a sweep of the silver-haired young woman’s hand, a massive barrier of solid ice, large enough to obscure the sky, materialized, blocking Aivia’s path forward.
Aivia’s speed was too great; she crashed headlong into it. The next moment, the ice wall began to envelop her.
Her arms and legs were frozen solid, trapping her. She could only watch helplessly as the frost steadily consumed her body.
Gern, who had been held captive by Aivia, remained unfrozen. As the frost neared him, it recoiled as if a mouse had spotted a cat, daring not to advance another inch.
Eliza, witnessing this unexpected scene, looked at Gern with a hint of surprise.
She hadn’t actively prevented the icy power from encroaching upon Gern. This implied that her ice magic had automatically ceased its spread the moment it reached him.
Her pale golden dragon eyes narrowed. For this to happen, Gern either possessed a treasure capable of warding off blizzards…
…or it was something else entirely.
However, it was too soon to draw conclusions. She required more substantial evidence to confirm her suspicions.
Eliza was in no hurry. After all, Gern was a new student under her supervision, and they would have plenty of time together.
Then, Eliza shifted her attention to Aivia, who was still gripping Gern. Her expression instantly turned cold as she spoke in a chilling tone:
“Now, please accompany me.”
Eliza waved her hand, and the surrounding ice walls vanished in an instant. Yet, Aivia’s body remained completely frozen.
Eliza seized Aivia firmly. No matter how much Aivia struggled, she could not break free from Eliza’s grasp.
Just as Eliza pondered how to safely bring the two of them back to the ground, she noticed a rapidly approaching shadow.
She looked up and saw the graceful figure wreathed in flames.
“Lilia?”
Lilia nodded, acknowledging Eliza. She quickly stepped forward to help, reclaiming Gern from Aivia’s grip.
The four landed safely back on the ground, which was now filled with a throng of onlookers—all new students who had rushed to witness the commotion.
Eliza swept her gaze around, her voice chilling.
“What time do you think it is? Hurry to class!”
As a student of her class, she might not have much authority over these individuals. However, she possessed another identity: the Vice President of the second-year student council.
When the surrounding students noticed the red student council emblem on her arm, the experienced ones immediately scattered, fearing Eliza would mark them down.
Meanwhile, those who felt indifferent towards the student council were blissfully unaware of what awaited them.
Seeing that the crowd still hadn’t dispersed, Eliza let out a cold laugh.
“You still don’t want to leave? Are you waiting for me to issue disciplinary actions?”
Hearing her words, the new students finally snapped to attention. They promptly fled the scene, leaving only the four of them to exchange glances.
“Thank you for your help this time, Miss Eliza.”
Lilia bowed respectfully to Eliza, expressing her gratitude.
Eliza glanced at Gern, then at the two of them standing so close together, sensing that the situation was more complex than it appeared.
“Tell me, what exactly happened?”
“Well… *cough*, let me explain.”
Gern recounted the entire sequence of events, word by word, leaving nothing unclear. After listening, Eliza nodded, then addressed Lilia.
“Take him to the infirmary first. We will handle this Blood Clan lady.”
“Understood. Thank you once again for your assistance.”
“It was merely my duty. Farewell.”
“Farewell.”
She almost thought she heard a certain unique breath, one exclusive to adolescent boys and girls.

Upon their return to the infirmary, the Holy Light Priestess couldn’t help but let a smile touch her lips when she saw Gern’s disheveled state.
“Back again, young man?”
“Aye, I am.”
The Priestess examined Gern, then once again cast a Holy Light healing spell to mend his injuries.
A moment later, the Priestess withdrew her hand from Gern.
“Your qi and blood are depleted. You practice the Knight’s path, don’t you? Refrain from training for a while. Rest and allow your qi and blood to recover before resuming your practice.”
Although Holy Light healing spells could cure most chronic illnesses and external wounds, they were ineffective against conditions like Gern’s blood deficiency.
The Priestess fell silent for a moment, then retrieved two boxes of red dates from a drawer.
“Take these. This is a secret remedy from the Olga Kingdom, known to replenish qi and nourish blood. It should help you.”
Gern accepted the two boxes of dates and thanked the Priestess.
Afterward, he and Lilia headed towards the academic building.
Following this series of events, it was already nearing class time. They needed to hurry.
Upon reaching the classroom, they found it already filled with students. Class was set to begin as soon as the bell rang, and Gern had just made it in time.
The teacher at the front of the class cast a glance at them but said nothing. They simply opened their spellbook in silence.
“Class begins!”
