Chapter 161 : Treating Her Like a Flower Vase?

“Are you ready? We’re going to settle the score with that old man.”

Before Milly could speak, a blinding white light erupted from the magic circle beneath her feet. She instinctively raised her hand to shield her eyes, but her body grew heavy, and her consciousness plunged into chaos, as if all her senses were suddenly cut off.

There was no weightlessness, no falling. Time seemed to freeze. The scenery around her dissolved and twisted, like a torn painting, shattering and reassembling into a new image in an instant.

Milly tried to focus, to think about her situation, but her thoughts were frozen along with time. She could only watch the scenery change, unable to process it, her brain like a rusted gear that had stopped turning.

The strange pause didn’t last long. In a few breaths, time began to flow again, and the changing scenery settled. When Milly regained her senses, she found herself in an unfamiliar space.

This must be the teleportation magic she had been longing for. But the experience was terrible. Milly had thought she would just stand there and reappear somewhere else. This felt nothing like that.

The moment her consciousness returned, her legs gave way, and she fell into Stacy’s arms.

“What kind of teleportation is this…”

Milly’s voice was weak. “It feels like being knocked out and thrown somewhere.”

It was a terrible feeling. But compared to being turned into a ball and thrown, it was acceptable. She looked up. Stacy was smiling, as if she had expected this.

“It’s always like this the first time~”

If not for the smile, and the arms tightening around her, Milly might have believed her. Now, it was clear that this woman had done it on purpose.

“If you’re uncomfortable, just rest for a bit.”

As she spoke, Milly felt Stacy’s grip tighten, as if afraid she would fall. But her fingers brushed through Milly’s hair, tracing her neck, the cold touch making Milly shiver.

“Bastard…”

“Hmm? What did you say, Little Milly? I didn’t catch that.”

Held in Stacy’s arms, Milly couldn’t see her expression. Her vision was blocked by something soft, and a faint scent filled her nose, making her want to stay. In this cold, fake world, only this warmth was real.

Wait!

Realizing what she was pressing against, Milly blushed and tried to pull away. But the dizziness from the teleportation lingered, and combined with the scent, her consciousness began to slip into an abyss.

She couldn’t see Stacy’s face, but she knew she was doing it on purpose. Unable to escape, Milly could only endure Stacy’s little tricks, feeling the cold fingers on her neck.

But Stacy didn’t continue for long. She released Milly, supporting her until the discomfort faded.

“You should get used to it next time.”

As she spoke, the discomfort faded. Milly patted her burning cheeks. As she looked down, she noticed something strange.

Wait, she wasn’t wearing this before.

Her slippers had been replaced by delicate leather shoes, and her bare legs were covered in white over-the-knee socks. Her nightgown had been replaced by a pure white dress.

The dress seemed woven from moonlight, the chiffon fabric rising and falling with her breath, misty like morning fog. A silver ribbon at her waist was tied in a delicate bow, the long ends trailing down the skirt like a flowing galaxy.

“What… what is the meaning of this?”

Milly moved. The dress was light and didn’t restrict her movement. But the skirt fluttered with every step. If she moved too much, everything underneath would be exposed.

“Pervert…”

They were supposed to be making a scene. Now, if she moved too much, her skirt would fly up. This world didn’t have safety shorts. A big move would expose everything.

Milly had to hold her skirt down carefully. She was embarrassed and angry. Had Stacy chosen this method just to change her into inconvenient clothes?

No wonder she had felt Stacy’s cold fingers on her neck when she was held. She must have used magic then to change her clothes.

“It suits you.”

Stacy looked her up and down, chuckling. “But there’s something even better. Want to try?”

“No!”

Milly dodged Stacy’s fingers, clutching her skirt. Who knew what shameful outfit she would put on her next?

“We’re here to fight, not to attend a tea party. What is this?”

Milly gritted her teeth. Stacy leaned in, lifting Milly’s chin, her eyes full of tenderness. “You don’t need to do anything, Little Milly. just watch quietly.”

So she was just a pretty flower vase? Just stand there and look pretty? She didn’t consider Milly a combatant at all.

But with Stacy here, she really didn’t need to fight. Except for the old fool, everyone else was an insta-kill for her.

Realizing her situation, Milly turned her face away in frustration. When would she be able to stand on her own and close the gap between her and Stacy?

Just then, the sound of clanking armor came from the end of the corridor. Milly looked up alertly. Several knights in iron armor appeared around the corner.

“Intruders!”

“By order of the Pope, no one is allowed to enter the sanctuary!”

But when the knights saw the intruder’s face, they froze, looking at each other in confusion.

“Your Holiness?”
