Chapter 1: The Golden Dragon Queen’s New Maid

Black skies perpetually shrouded this land.

Dense dark clouds hung heavy, and lightning occasionally tore through the pitch-black firmament.

It was a place of chaos, darkness, and danger, yet it brimmed with a strange allure.

Within the deep, tranquil mountain forest, all was swallowed by the encroaching darkness.

Only faint glimmers from the barren land flickered like distant fireflies, shining and fading.

At the very edge of this sprawling forest stood a castle forged entirely of gold.

It exuded an air of lavish decadence, yet simultaneously reeked of death.

But at this very moment, a dragon’s roar echoed from within the Golden City—a mournful cry of a dragon facing its demise.

Inside the castle, a sharp blade plunged into the great dragon’s heart. The Holy Sword was then withdrawn from the beast’s body.

Scorching dragon blood poured down like a torrential rain, splattering across Kassim’s armor.

The obsidian armor sizzled, and white smoke continuously billowed from its surface.

To single-handedly slay a Dragon King-level dragon was a testament to his immense power, yet it had pushed Kassim to his absolute limit.

He knelt on the ground, hands braced against the stone to prevent himself from collapsing.

As the Empire’s strongest Dragon Slayer, his initial mission had been to eradicate the wicked dragon here.

However, he had been betrayed by his accompanying Dragon Slayer squad. A searing flame now consumed his body from within.

Kassim felt as though his internal organs were melting away.

“Clap, clap, clap.”

Appreciative applause resonated through the grand hall.

This was followed by the soft click of high heels tapping on the stone slabs.

The sound echoed incessantly within the vast hall, drawing ever closer to Kassim.

Suddenly, the footsteps ceased. Someone stood directly before Kassim.

Kassim struggled to lift his head. Over-the-knee boots encased slender legs, crossed elegantly, while the absolute territory beneath a short black skirt radiated an undeniable allure.

Her lustrous golden hair cascaded smoothly along the curves of her body. The maiden’s skin was like warm sunlight upon fresh snow, pure white and flawless, her peerless beauty imbued with a hint of nobility and majesty.

This was Faltis Calibot, the Golden Dragon Queen, a disaster-level great dragon and currently the Empire’s greatest threat, symbolizing both nobility and awe-inspiring power.

Kassim, enduring the turmoil within his body, forced himself to stand, tightening his grip on the Holy Sword. “I challenge you, Faltis!”

Her cherry-like lips curved into a subtle, almost imperceptible arc. Her golden eyes regarded Kassim with keen interest. “You can still stand? Truly worthy of being the Empire’s strongest Dragon Slayer, Kassim Damocles.”

The Holy Sword, which he could usually wield with ease, now felt incredibly heavy, a struggle even to lift.

Though his body was constantly being scorched by flames from within, Kassim felt an increasing coldness. He sensed his life force steadily draining away.

Kassim knew with chilling certainty that this was his final opportunity to strike.

However, Faltis merely sidestepped, easily dodging the sword’s thrust. Only a few strands of golden hair were severed.

The next second, the Holy Sword in his hand was slapped to the ground by Faltis.

“With your body already in such disarray, you still think of resisting?” Faltis’s interest in the strongest Dragon Slayer only grew. “How pitiful, to be slain by something as low-grade as fire.”

Kassim glared fixedly at Faltis, a hint of indignation in his eyes. If not for the machinations of petty individuals, he would never have become someone else’s captive, not like this.

“A good gaze. I wonder, when the strongest Dragon Slayer becomes my servant, will you still be able to show such an expression?”

Kassim’s consciousness began to blur. He could no longer make out Faltis’s words.

He knelt before Faltis, like a devout believer praying for divine salvation.

Rustle—

The tail beneath her skirt gently twitched. She lifted Kassim’s chin, bit her tongue, and watched as blood seeped from between her cherry lips.

It flowed down her fair skin, dripping onto Kassim’s lips, like a goddess bestowing absolution upon her worshipper.

Faltis held Kassim… No, she no longer called him Kassim.

“Lady Faltis! Are you alright?!” A reckless maid flew into the hall.

Faltis raised her eyes and glanced at her. “Setia, you’re quite late, aren’t you?”

“My apologies, Lady Faltis. I was just dealing with the Dragon Slayers who invaded our territory,” Setia said, her head bowed as she knelt before Faltis.

“And the result?”

“He sacrificed his squad members to save his own life.”

“That certainly aligns with the typical conduct of these Dragon Slayers. Rise.”

“Yes.” Setia stood up, only to notice an unfamiliar woman cradled in Faltis’s arms.

Her pristine silver hair, like a galaxy suspended in the sky, framed a face with closed eyes. She lay quietly in Faltis’s embrace. “Lady Faltis, who is this?”

Faltis pondered for a moment. “Eileen Calibot, the new maid.”

Five years later.

In the Golden Dragon Hall’s back garden.

The Silver Dragon Maid, Eileen, was diligently cleaning. She held a broom in one hand and a dustpan in the other, even her translucent silver tail behind her was coiled around another broom.

She wore a black and white maid’s uniform, her wings draped over her skirt like an extension of the fabric.

Beneath the translucent long skirt, her bare, slender, beautiful legs were faintly visible. The maid uniform perfectly accentuated her alluring figure.

Her waist-length silver hair danced in the wind, beautiful like an inverted galaxy. A few playful strands flew forward, revealing a delicate face beneath them.

One glance was all it took to be utterly captivated by her beauty.

She brushed her hair aside, her exquisite eyes sparkling like violet gemstones.

“Eileen!”

Her long, slender ears twitched slightly, as if she had heard someone call her name.

She looked up, and a red figure descended before her, immediately messing up the area she had just finished cleaning.

Before she could even feel annoyed, the figure spread its arms, intending to embrace her. However, Eileen’s tail intercepted the attempt.

Eileen tried to retract her tail, but the red figure held on tightly.

“Your Majesty the Red Dragon, please release your hands,” Eileen said, seemingly accustomed to this, a hint of helplessness in her eyes.

The person, dressed in a red gown with fiery red hair cascading down their back, possessed an impressive figure. Their crimson vertical pupils stared intently at Eileen.

They licked the corner of their mouth, revealing a forked tongue, as if about to devour Eileen whole.

This was Peroy Labish, the current Queen of the Red Dragon clan.

Eileen had no idea why the Queen of the Red Dragon clan was so fond of her. It seemed to have started five years ago, ever since their first encounter on Sky Fantasy Island.
