Join the ServerDamn it! Eileen desperately wanted to deliver two solid punches to the person who had uttered those words. Then she realized, with a jolt, that it had been herself. ‘Oh, right. My bad.’
“Oh my, what a truly devoted maid you are. How shall I ever reward such dedication?” Faltis purred, her hand lightly swatting Eileen’s backside.
“Ah?!” Eileen gasped, her hand flying to cover her mouth.
“Eileen?” From beyond the door, Setia’s voice carried a hint of confusion, as if she had caught a peculiar sound.
“Wh-what is it?” Eileen stammered, a glint of crystalline tears shimmering at the corners of her eyes.
‘Damn Faltis! All those things before, they were all just groundwork for this very moment, weren’t they?’
“Did you just make a sound?” Setia inquired.
“No, you must have misheard me, didn’t you?” Eileen gritted out, relieved that Faltis hadn’t pressed further.
“Is that so?”
“My apologies, but this is Lady Faltis’s room, so I cannot let you enter,” Eileen explained, attempting to engage Setia to deflect any suspicion.
“There’s no need to apologize for that. It’s a fundamental rule I’m well aware of,” Setia chuckled. “Eileen, you fulfill some of my requests, but I also know exactly what is strictly forbidden.”
Ordinarily, Eileen might have been deeply moved by such words. In this particular situation, however, hearing them made her wish for death.
“Oh my, you fulfill some requests, you say? What kind of requests might those be?” Faltis’s hand climbed higher, reaching the maid’s proud mounds.
Just as Eileen suspected, Faltis had no intention of letting her off so easily.
Meanwhile, Setia, oblivious to the situation unfolding inside the room, leaned against the door. “Eileen, I’ve been thinking a little about what you said to me today.”
“Wh-what did I say?” Eileen, now also pressed against the door, was panting heavily.
“Only after making a change can one truly know if it’s for better or worse,” Setia mused. “If I remain content with the status quo, I might never make any significant decisions in this lifetime. So, I too wish to make some changes.”
“That’s truly co— Ah?!” Eileen suddenly felt an electric jolt course through her brain.
A seductive whisper brushed against Eileen’s ear. “My, my, what a truly close bond you two share. To think she’d change for your sake… I’m just a little… envious.”
Faltis slowly began to unfasten Eileen’s dress.
Dragons are inherently fond of treasures, especially those that sparkle and shine.
This trait was evident in the Dragon’s Hoard, where almost every draconic weapon was adorned with various gems. Faltis was no exception.
The great dragon circled outside the cave, her gaze drawn to the gem embedded above the entrance.
She extended a claw, delicately turning the pea-sized jewel between her fingers.
That earlier denial had been merely a prelude to this very moment!
“?!” The instant Faltis made contact, Eileen abruptly collapsed to her knees before the door.
“Eileen? Are you alright?” The sudden commotion from within the room filled Setia with worry.
“I… I…” Eileen found it incredibly difficult to stay conscious, let alone comprehend Setia’s words or answer her questions. “I’m fine… I just accidentally… um… bumped into the table.”
Eileen’s voice was laced with a seductive moan.
“Oh dear, what’s going on here?” Faltis’s hand appeared before Eileen’s face.
Two fingers traced an arc in the air. “It’s barely been two days, and you already miss me so much, Eileen?”
‘Damn it!’
The sudden assault, combined with the earlier tease, left Eileen’s body craving Faltis’s touch.
Yet, she now had to contend with both Faltis and Setia’s inquiries.
“Are you truly alright? You sound as if you’re in great pain, Eileen,” Setia pressed.
“I’m really fine… Next time… I’ll wear shoes, I promise. My toe just accidentally hit the table leg,” Eileen gasped, her words broken and punctuated by breaths, as if enduring immense agony.
Faltis’s offensive did not immediately resume. Instead, she watched her own fingers with a knowing smile, her index finger and thumb touching, separating, touching again, separating again, drawing a continuous arc.
Though Faltis said nothing, she conveyed everything.
‘Damn it! Give me back my body!’
Faltis’s understanding of Eileen’s body far surpassed Eileen’s own.
After all, there was a difference of five years plus more than a week between them.
While Eileen hadn’t lost her memories, she didn’t deliberately retain such intimate details.
Typically, she only needed to lie down on the bed, close her eyes, and await the dragon’s impact.
“Now, do you know where you went wrong?”
“Yes, I do. I shouldn’t have talked back to Lady Faltis. I shouldn’t have disrespected Lady Faltis. I shouldn’t ask questions that aren’t my place. I should warm the bed when the time comes. And I must bathe before coming to Lady Faltis’s room,” Eileen recited.
Faltis gazed at Eileen, a hint of exasperation in her expression, suspecting Eileen was doing this on purpose. However, she was utterly charmed by Eileen’s bashful, adorable gaze.
“Alright, I won’t bully you today,” Faltis said, patting Eileen’s backside.
Eileen shot Faltis a reproachful look. ‘You call this not bullying?’
Faltis offered an awkward chuckle. It was a habit; her hand had just instinctively gone there.
Eileen pulled up the white lace trim, smoothed her dress, and then, holding the hem, curtsied slightly. “Thank you very much, Lady Faltis.”
“Are you angry?” Faltis asked, watching Eileen.
“How could a maid possibly be angry with her mistress?” Eileen replied with a bright smile.
“It’s perfectly normal to be angry. I wouldn’t blame you,” Faltis stated.
Eileen was a little confused. ‘Just a moment ago, you listed all the things a maid shouldn’t do, and now you won’t blame me? Are you fishing for something?’
But clearly, Faltis’s reason for being upset wasn’t Eileen’s various improprieties.
“Understood, Lady Faltis. I will be more careful in the future.”
After bowing, Eileen left the room.
Faltis licked her fingers. ‘Mmm… Eileen’s taste.’
She stretched, only to notice a bag on the table.
She had been so absorbed in playing with Eileen that she’d forgotten about it.
As Faltis picked up the bag, a strand of text formed from magical energy.
[I bought too much in Grant Town. It’s not like I deliberately bought it for you.]
Yet, the unopened packaging and the traces of magic carefully preserving it betrayed Eileen’s true intentions.
Faltis placed it in her mouth. “Mmm… so sweet.”
