Anna felt that everything about this Silver Dragon Princess, whom Seraphina had brought back, was exceptional. Her temperament was ethereal, her beauty unparalleled… yet she had a tendency to zone out.
Felicia snapped back to reality, feeling a pang of embarrassment upon realizing Anna had been calling her.
“Miss Felicia, are you feeling unwell?”
“No, no, not at all. I was just lost in thought. So, can I go out for a walk now?”
“You cannot,” Anna replied politely.
“Alright…” Felicia felt a flicker of disappointment, but after a moment’s consideration, she decided it was only natural.
She didn’t believe Seraphina would completely drop her guard just because they had spent two nights together.
If Anna had replied “yes,” Felicia would have, ironically, considered it a potential trick by Seraphina.
As soon as Felicia finished speaking, she walked towards the library. She noticed Anna following closely behind her, always maintaining a half-step’s distance.
Anna had previously introduced the library when she gave Felicia a tour of the castle’s interior, so knowing the way was perfectly normal.
“It’s so vast!”
Even though Felicia had mentally prepared herself, she was still utterly astonished upon entering.
The collection of books within was incredibly rich, so numerous that Felicia couldn’t possibly count them all, and the space itself was immense.
One would think this was a public library in a bustling city, not a private one within a castle.
“Um, Anna, could you help me find a book?” Felicia felt that finding a single book among so many would be like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Rather than blindly fumbling around, it made more sense to ask someone familiar with the place.
“Of course,” Anna nodded, snapping her fingers.
The next moment, a tiny figure, no larger than Felicia’s palm, suddenly appeared. She had a refreshing, shoulder-length bob of peach-pink hair and a pair of translucent wings on her back.
“Taosu the Fairy, at your service! And this is?” The small being, who introduced herself as “Taosu the Fairy,” bowed to Anna, then looked inquisitively at Felicia.
“This is Miss Felicia, the Silver Dragon Princess, and very likely the future mistress of this place,” Anna replied.
“Oh~ my apologies, Miss Felicia. Hello, I am Taosu, a fairy,” Taosu said, flying closer to Felicia to introduce herself.
“What is a fairy?” Felicia inquired.
“Miss Felicia, you don’t know?” Anna looked genuinely shocked.
Felicia surmised she must have asked a question regarding common knowledge; otherwise, Anna’s reaction wouldn’t have been so extreme.
But she truly didn’t know what a fairy was.
The vast amount of information she had received earlier, apart from the introduction to the Dragon Emperor’s authority, consisted solely of learning and using Draconic magic. It hadn’t touched upon common knowledge of this world at all.
“If I told you I’m not from this world, but from another, would you believe me?” Felicia blinked.
Anna didn’t answer, merely shaking her head. Clearly, she didn’t believe Felicia’s statement.
Felicia shrugged, a hint of helplessness in her expression. She wanted to be an honest child, but Anna wasn’t giving her the chance.
“Alright… the truth is, I’ve lost my memory. I’ve forgotten many things about this world, only remembering important details like my name,” Felicia fabricated a convenient lie.
Amnesia. This was the classic excuse used by transmigration protagonists in countless novels and anime.
It was a truly foolproof and effective excuse, as Anna immediately believed her.
“So, you suffered from amnesia,” Anna said. “In that case, allow me to introduce things to Miss Felicia.”
“Fairies are a very special race in this world. Firstly, their bodies are all very small, just like Taosu.”
“Secondly, fairies are pure magical lifeforms, living and feeding on magic. In low-magic environments, fairies will feel unwell.”

“So, Anna, what was your purpose in calling Taosu out?”
“Taosu is the librarian of this library. She knows the location of every book here. If you wish to find any specific book, you can ask Taosu,” Anna replied.
“If you plan to read here, I will guard the library entrance to ensure no one suddenly appears to disturb your reading.”
“Very well, Anna, you may go out first. I’ll be staying here for a while,” Felicia said.
Anna nodded and exited. Now, apart from Felicia, only the tiny Taosu remained.
“Taosu, could you help me find books about the common knowledge of this world?”
“Of course! Please wait a moment!” Taosu vanished instantly, only to reappear just as quickly.
When Taosu returned, she was dragging a book.
“Thank you for your effort,” Felicia thought it was quite remarkable that such a small creature like Taosu could lift such a large book.
The book was not only large but also remarkably thick, comparable to a dictionary, perhaps even thicker. It was titled ‘A Chronicle of Customs on the Continent of Revelation,’ authored by Sneden.
Felicia, upon receiving the book, did not start reading from the beginning. Instead, she used the table of contents to directly locate the section on fairies.
She skipped over the parts Anna had already introduced, focusing primarily on the section regarding ‘Fairy Contracts.’
“Fairy Contracts… found it.”
The book stated that every fairy possessed a unique ability. By signing a contract with a fairy and paying a certain price, one could utilize their abilities.
Fairy abilities varied in strength, and their corresponding prices ranged from high to low. However, it was confirmed that the stronger a fairy’s ability, the higher the price required.
It was rumored that fairies also had a world of their own, though the credibility of this information was low. After all, no fairy had any recollection of “that world,” and all known fairies had been discovered on the Continent of Revelation.
