Chapter 60: Waking Up to Trouble

When Felicia woke up, her head still felt a bit dizzy.

What happened yesterday afternoon? She couldn’t quite remember.

But if she didn’t remember, it probably wasn’t anything important… No big deal.

By now, the world outside the window was bright with daylight.

Felicia recalled that she had fallen asleep yesterday afternoon. Judging by the light outside, it was at least morning.

Had she really slept for an entire day?!

‘How could I sleep so much…’ Just as Felicia was about to get out of bed, something caught her attention.

Namely, she didn’t seem to be lying in bed right now.

Felicia looked down and found herself dangling from the ceiling, both hands tied above her head.

‘What happened?!’ Felicia was shocked.

Had she missed some three-thousand-word chapter? How the hell did she wake up strung up like this?

“Help!!!” Felicia mustered all her strength and shouted, hoping someone would come to the rescue.

Please… anyone… Just not…

With a slam, the door burst open.

Good news: someone came.

Bad news: it was Seraphina.

“Cough, cough, well, um, I don’t think I did anything…” Felicia looked at Seraphina standing in the doorway, feeling guilty.

“Really?” Seraphina didn’t answer Felicia’s question, just asked.

“I don’t know!”

“Then let me help you remember~”

Seraphina produced a crystal ball. Felicia knew what it was.

A Recording Orb, capable of storing footage for a period of time, basically like a surveillance camera back on Blue Star.

Felicia thought about the function of the Recording Orb and suddenly realized something.

Had a Recording Orb been placed in her room?

Even though Felicia hadn’t seen one in her room, that didn’t mean there wasn’t one. If she had accidentally said something she shouldn’t have, and Seraphina happened to hear it…

Then she could declare herself doomed.

‘Wait, could it be that the Recording Orb contains…’ Felicia suddenly realized something, but it was too late.

She remembered that she occasionally had a habit of talking in her sleep.

Sure enough, the Recording Orb showed Felicia lying in bed. The silver-haired girl, lost in dreams, murmured a few phrases from time to time.

“Once I escape, I’ll come back sometime and make Seraphina feel what I felt. I’ll make her @#%¥@*…”

The rest was beyond broadcastable content. In short, it was rather explicit.

“Cough, cough… Would you believe me if I said those weren’t my real thoughts?” Felicia chose to play dumb.

“Guess whether I’ll believe you or not?” Seraphina replied with a forced smile.

“Whoa! At least don’t do that to me! Please! I’ll really break!” Realizing that playing dumb was useless, Felicia switched to begging.

As long as the green mountains remain, there’s no shortage of firewood.

In three hundred years, the river flows east; in three hundred years, it flows west—don’t bully a dragon girl when she’s weak!

As for why it was three hundred years and not thirty? Felicia figured she might not be able to beat Seraphina even in thirty years…

“Of course I won’t do that.” Seraphina said.

Hearing this, Felicia felt as if she had ascended from hell to heaven, and even started mentally praising Seraphina.

“But…” Seraphina’s tone shifted.

Felicia tensed up, her heart in her throat.

“Punishment must still be given.” Seraphina took something out from her spatial storage.

“Wait… You can’t be…” Felicia saw the object in Seraphina’s hand and began to tremble all over.

What Seraphina held was a feather.

At that moment, Felicia was dangling from the ceiling, and Seraphina was holding a feather. What she intended to do was obvious.

“N-n-n-n-no! This can’t be! Can we change it?! I think staying in a dark room for a while would be nice, right? Hahaha…”

A long, long time ago—Felicia couldn’t recall when—she had been subjected to this by Seraphina once, and it almost broke her.

One could imagine just how ticklish Felicia was.

Speaking of which, it was worth mentioning that Felicia’s two little feet were currently bare, without shoes or socks.

Her toes curled slightly, her skin delicate and snowy white, like a carefully nurtured piece of jade.

“Of course… that’s not allowed. If you make a mistake, you must be punished.” Seraphina raised the feather and gently tickled Felicia’s sole.

“Hee hee… stop…” Felicia’s head shook lightly. Seraphina hadn’t even applied much force, but Felicia was already on the verge of collapse.

Felicia tried to lift her legs to escape the torment, but Seraphina had already grabbed her ankles. There was no escape.

Seraphina said nothing, just applied a little more pressure.

“Heeheeheeheehahahahaha~ So ticklish~ So ticklish~ Hahahahaha!” Two abnormal blushes appeared on Felicia’s cheeks, and her body struggled instinctively, but to no avail.

“Admit your mistake? Maybe I’ll go easier on you~”

“Hahahaha~ I’m sorry, I’m sorry~ I was wrong~ Please spare me, hahaha~” Felicia’s apologies were almost drowned out by the waves of laughter.

Yet Seraphina didn’t let her off just like that. Only after a thorough punishment did she finally stop.

“Ah…” Once released, Felicia collapsed to the floor, her eyes vacant. It took a long time for her to come back to her senses.

She slowly stood up, recalling the experience of being hung and tickled by Felicia—wait, that should be Seraphina. The blush on her cheeks deepened.

“Th-this means we’re even, right!” Felicia said.

“Of course… not possible~” Seraphina replied.

“Y-y-y-y-you! You’re not going to do this again, are you! No way, no way! I’ll go stupid!” Felicia covered her body and backed away, but accidentally tripped and fell, landing on the floor with her legs forming an M shape.

“Ow, ow, ow, ow…”

Seraphina took out a maid outfit from her spatial storage and tossed it into Felicia’s arms.

“Tomorrow morning, wear this and come to my room. You must arrive before seven-thirty~ Otherwise, the disobedient little one will receive worse punishment.”

“I-I-I-I’ll be there for sure!” A chill ran down Felicia’s spine, and her grip on the maid outfit tightened.

“It’s just…”

“What?” Seraphina frowned.

“Where is your room?”

“Oh…” Seraphina paused, then thought about it. She had indeed never told Felicia where her room was.

Or rather, had Seraphina ever returned to her own room? At least since Felicia moved into the castle, Seraphina had basically never gone back.

If not for Anna insisting on cleaning every day, Seraphina’s room would probably be covered in dust by now.

“Well… Ask Anna to take you there tonight. I have things to do. See you later~” Seraphina chose to leave the scene of the crime.

Leaving Felicia alone, bewildered in the wind.
