Join the ServerAfter Seraphina watched Yunwu and Yunyu depart, she noticed Anna, who had just arrived.
Anna, having also noticed Seraphina, offered a respectful bow.
“Good evening, Master.”
“Anna, is something the matter?” Seraphina inquired.
“Miss Felicia asked me to dissuade Yunwu and Yunyu from leaving,” Anna replied.
“However, given the current situation, my task is already complete.”
“Indeed.” Seraphina nodded.
“Anna, you may continue your patrols throughout the castle as usual.”
“Understood.” Anna then walked away.
Seraphina proceeded to the infirmary.
She found the lights already extinguished, and Felicia lying on the bed, seemingly fast asleep.
Suddenly, Seraphina noticed Felicia’s eyes fluttering open.
Their gazes met.
One second, two seconds passed, and in the third, Felicia reacted, swiftly closing her eyes again.
Indeed, Felicia had merely been feigning sleep.
Her reason for doing so was simple: she wished to avoid Seraphina, at least for the day.
Felicia wasn’t sure if Seraphina would come to settle accounts over the incident, but if she were asleep, Seraphina couldn’t possibly demand she wake up just to sleep again, could she?
Thus, Felicia chose to pretend.
As for who had turned off the infirmary lights, it was Anna, of course; Felicia couldn’t even get out of bed to do it herself.
Unfortunately for Felicia, her luck was poor; she had been caught peeking open her eyes to gauge the situation just as Seraphina noticed her.
At that moment, Seraphina switched on the lights and approached Felicia.
Felicia was still terrified, trembling visibly—a clear testament to her fear.
“Why are you shaking so much? I won’t do anything to you,” Seraphina said, sitting on another bed and looking down at Felicia.
“Really?” Felicia asked, a hint of disbelief in her voice.
She had almost poisoned Seraphina, after all.
Though that ‘almost’ might have been a significant exaggeration, and Felicia hadn’t intended to poison her, it was a fact that Seraphina had been harmed by Felicia.
“I’m not that petty… and the main reason is that you weren’t willing; it was unintentional. As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss.”
“Though I didn’t realize your cooking possessed such destructive power…”
‘…’ Felicia felt both relieved and speechless.
‘What do you mean, ‘I didn’t realize your cooking possessed such destructive power’? It was an accident, a complete accident!’
“You might not believe me, but I have to say, that incident truly was an accident,” Felicia explained. “My cooking is actually quite decent.”
Felicia often cooked for herself; if her cooking were truly terrible, she would have poisoned herself long ago.
It was simply an unforeseen mishap.
“Mm-hmm, yes, yes, exactly.” Seraphina merely nodded, offering no further words.
This reminded Felicia of the anonymous internet users who would respond with “Ah, yes, yes, exactly” during her intense online surfing days.
It seemed there was no explaining it.
“Then I’m going to sleep.” Felicia turned, intending to doze off.
But Seraphina pressed her down.
“You, you, you, you, you, what are you doing? I, I, I’m telling you, I’m not feeling well right now. You can’t just bully me like you did a few days ago.”
Felicia worried Seraphina would take advantage of her weakened state, but her fears were entirely unfounded. If Seraphina wanted to bully her, she wouldn’t need to exploit her vulnerability.
A soft green glow emanated from Seraphina’s hand, the light sinking into Felicia’s body.
As the green light entered her, Felicia felt a soothing warmth spread throughout her body, as if she were soaking in a hot spring. It was incredibly comfortable.
Clearly, Seraphina was using healing magic to mend Felicia’s body.
“That’s enough.” Seraphina suddenly stopped. “Your body will be fully recovered by tomorrow.”
“Good night, then.”
Seraphina had no intention of lingering. Firstly, Felicia was genuinely exhausted, and secondly, Seraphina needed to research Felicia’s special curry rice.
She was genuinely curious about what kind of process could create such a dish.
“Good night.” After Seraphina turned off the lights, Felicia whispered, watching her departure.

The next morning, Felicia awoke groggily, feeling remarkably well and full of energy.
“Huh?” Suddenly, Felicia touched something soft and warm.
She seemed to realize something, slowly turning her head and lifting a corner of the blanket.
A black-haired girl lay quietly on the bed. Indeed, it was Seraphina.
‘Why is she here?’
This was Felicia’s first thought.
‘Did she secretly do anything to me?’
This was Felicia’s second thought.
Before Felicia could make any move, the sleeping black-haired girl awoke and looked at Felicia.
“Good morning.”
“So why are you in my bed?!” Finally, Felicia couldn’t hold back, demanding loudly.
“Didn’t we sleep together before?” Seraphina’s face showed confusion. “It’s quite normal, isn’t it?”
“Uh…” Felicia was momentarily unable to refute Seraphina’s words.
Even if sleeping with Seraphina wasn’t Felicia’s choice, it didn’t negate the fact that they had slept together for the past few days.
“But, but…”
While Felicia was still pondering how to argue, Seraphina suddenly leaned in and kissed her.
The two girls’ lips met, and as Felicia realized what was happening, a blush bloomed on her cheeks.
Who knew how much time had passed? Perhaps a few seconds, perhaps a minute, before the two girls finally parted.
“You, you, you… what are you doing?!” Felicia lowered her head, not wanting Seraphina to see the flush on her face.
“A good morning kiss. Don’t you like it?” Seraphina inquired.
“I read in a book that giving a good morning kiss to a friend or someone you like can make them feel energetic all day long.”
“…What kind of books are you reading? Is that how you give a good morning kiss?” Felicia felt a surge of helplessness.
She was genuinely curious about what Seraphina spent her days reading.
“Then let me ask you, do you feel energetic?”
“Yes, I certainly feel very energetic.” Felicia had been startled by Seraphina, feeling her vitality almost overflowing.
No sooner had Felicia finished speaking than Seraphina pulled her back onto the bed.
“Then let’s do something fun now~”
“What are you going to do now?!”
Felicia struggled, struggled in vain, then gave up struggling.
…
After the ‘battle’ ended, both were somewhat disheveled. Felicia touched her neck, where a rather noticeable mark remained.
“I have some things to attend to. You can either lie here or go for a walk. See you tonight~”
Seraphina seemed in a very pleasant mood, skipping out with a cheerful gait.
