Join the ServerFelicia was contemplating how, if time could only rewind, she would have been more mindful of the clock while reading. This way, Seraphina wouldn’t have been able to take advantage of her vulnerability.
Yet, such thoughts were utterly futile now; it was far too late.
“You… you won’t bully me again, will you?” Felicia blinked, hoping for an affirmative answer from Seraphina’s lips.
Seraphina, however, offered no reply. She simply held Felicia’s hand.
“Why were you learning invisibility?” Seraphina inquired.
Felicia’s body tensed as she pondered how to answer Seraphina.
In her mind, this question was no less perilous than a girlfriend asking, ‘If your mother and I both fell into the water, who would you save first?’ It was a classic ‘death trap’ question, one wrong answer away from disaster.
She had to answer with extreme caution, lest the situation escalate dramatically.
Her thoughts, however, began to wander once more.
‘Surely Seraphina couldn’t have known I was planning to escape just from the invisibility spell, could she?’ Felicia mused. ‘If Seraphina had such powerful intuition, I wouldn’t even need to run; I could just lie down obediently.’
‘Hmm… I *have* been lying down obediently these past two days, though not by choice.’
“This…” Felicia’s gaze dropped to the book in her hands. “I-I just happened to turn to this page by chance and wanted to learn it. There’s no other meaning, really.”
It was evident that Felicia’s words were a clumsy attempt to conceal the truth, but Seraphina didn’t press the matter.
‘Did she not notice?’
Felicia desperately hoped that was the case, otherwise, she would be in deep trouble.
“To use magic, one needs to sense mana and construct a mana circuit. You should know these basics. However, different spells require different mana circuits, so I will demonstrate it for you.”
“How… ?”
Felicia had just begun to ask, “How will you demonstrate?” when, in the very next instant, she felt a second type of mana emerge within her body.
It was Seraphina’s mana.
Seraphina’s mana coursed through Felicia’s body, constructing the mana circuit for ‘Invisibility Spell.’ The next moment, Felicia’s form vanished without a trace.
She dispelled the invisibility spell, and Felicia returned to her visible state. However, the current Felicia seemed… to have undergone some changes?
“W-what’s wrong with me…?” Felicia felt her entire body growing hot, her head swimming in a daze.
‘Did I catch a cold? No, that can’t be right. Dragon physiology shouldn’t be so weak, and I haven’t even gone outside. How could I possibly catch a cold?’
In her current state, Felicia’s brain simply wouldn’t allow her to think further. Instinctively, she nestled into Seraphina’s embrace.
“Why is the rejection so strong?” Seraphina had never encountered such a situation before.
Everyone’s mana is unique, and when another person’s mana enters one’s body, a certain degree of rejection occurs. Felicia was unaware of this, but Seraphina knew it well.
However, Seraphina had never heard of anyone having such a powerful rejection. And the way Felicia looked right now, something felt profoundly off.
‘Could it be that mana rejection intensifies between different races? It’s highly probable…’
Seraphina felt she had stumbled upon a new field of study, but now was not the time to dwell on it.
Felicia, like a docile kitten, snuggled into Seraphina’s arms, gently rubbing her head.
For a fleeting moment, Seraphina’s heart melted.
If it were merely a few rubs, it would have been fine, but the battle-hardened Seraphina knew all too well that what Felicia desired now was far more than just that.
Seraphina gazed at Felicia, a playful smile curling on her lips.
“Originally, I didn’t intend to do this, especially since I just bullied you a little while ago… But since you’re delivering yourself right to my doorstep, don’t blame me, alright?”
Temporarily deprived of her senses, Felicia felt a dizzying sensation before she was gently pressed onto the bed by Seraphina.

Felicia and Seraphina sat at the dining table, with Felicia seated to Seraphina’s left.
For certain special reasons, Felicia had been carried over by Seraphina.
Faintly, Seraphina could still perceive a sweet, intoxicating fragrance emanating from Felicia.
Tonight, Felicia’s dinner was a steak.
“Accursed Seraphina…” Felicia grumbled softly, stabbing her fork into the steak.
It was clear that Felicia’s resentment ran deep; several cracks had already appeared on the plate.
“You were so eager just now, and now you’re turning your back on me? That’s a bit heartless, isn’t it~?”
Seraphina, seated beside Felicia, leaned in and whispered softly into her ear.
“You shut up! Don’t ever bring that up again!” Felicia glared fiercely at Seraphina, though the latter felt no sense of intimidation whatsoever.
Seraphina found the angry Felicia to be rather like a ruffled kitten, utterly adorable.
“Ugh…” Felicia, provoked by Seraphina, ate her steak with a sullen expression, finishing it in no time.
“I’m going back to continue reading. You can take your time eating here.” Felicia stood up, preparing to leave.
“Stay put,” Seraphina commanded.
Felicia desperately wanted to return, yet she had no choice but to obey Seraphina’s command.
She couldn’t win a fight now, and running… she probably couldn’t escape for the time being. Openly defying orders would be tantamount to telling Seraphina, ‘I want to be punished,’ wouldn’t it?
Just thinking about how ‘stimulating’ Seraphina’s ‘rewards’ were, what would her punishments be like?
Felicia merely considered it for a moment and felt her whole body tremble, almost unable to stand steady.
Hmm… it was hard to say whether Seraphina was behind it just now.
“What’s the rush? Sit down. Do I look like some kind of monster?”
Felicia felt that, for her, Seraphina wasn’t just *like* a monster; she *was* the monster itself.
This situation was only temporary. Once she, Felicia, escaped, she would become immensely powerful, then return to pin Seraphina down.
She absolutely had to reverse the situation!
Felicia sat back down in her previous seat.
“Haaah~ Speaking of which, little one, you haven’t bathed yet, have you? How about I take you for a bath in a little while?” Seraphina looked at Felicia with a half-smile.
Sometimes, she found Felicia quite amusing, like a hamster. A little teasing, a little poke, and she would react dramatically.
“T-that… there’s something I’m not sure if I should say.” Felicia deliberated for a long time before slowly uttering the sentence.
“Just say what’s on your mind. I won’t do anything to you.”
Felicia rolled her eyes internally. ‘Won’t do anything to me? Even a ghost wouldn’t believe that now.’
“C-can I bathe myself…? I know where the bathroom is.”
“What do you think?”
Seraphina merely gave an ambiguous answer, but Felicia knew that Seraphina already had an answer in her heart.
“Alright…” Felicia nodded.
“Excellent, excellent~” Seraphina reached out and stroked Felicia’s head. “Be a good girl and obey, and you’ll get more rewards in the future. Even freedom, perhaps, isn’t entirely out of the question, you know?”
