Chapter 75: Was the 2-on-2 match with the juniors really intense?

“What was that?” Seeing a massive red dragon suddenly appear in the night sky, Yuffie’s eyes widened in shock.

She had never seen such a gigantic creature before.

It had effortlessly sent her white armor flying back. This dragon was clearly very powerful!

Undoubtedly, Senior Charlotte had come prepared this time, even bringing along such a formidable dragon.

Yuffie clenched her fist in frustration.

She had come too far to turn back now. She could only brace herself and press on.

“Hey, how long are you going to lie there?”

Yuffie spoke coldly to the direction of the Everstart Tower behind her.

As soon as the words left her mouth, the white armor, which had been smashed into the Everstart Tower by the red dragon, suddenly glowed with a fierce red light and shot out of the tower.

It streaked across the night sky, appearing in front of the red dragon in the blink of an eye.

A powerful hit from the armor struck the red dragon’s body, making the dragon howl in pain.

“This white armor is the guardian passed down through generations of the Inola family. Its combat ability is incredibly high. Give it enough magical power, and it can even kill a god!”

“Destroy it! Berserker!”

Under Yuffie’s command, the white armor’s combat ability surged. Like a youth who had once slain a great dragon, it launched a fierce flurry of punches and kicks at the colossal red dragon.

However, the red dragon was no pushover. After enduring several painful blows, it let out a deafening roar and swung its claw down at the white armor.

But the red dragon’s movement was incredibly sluggish in the white armor’s eyes. By the time the red dragon’s attack landed, the white armor had already flashed to the dragon’s back and struck its head with a devastating punch, sending it plummeting towards the ground.

The white armor then chased after the dragon, showing no intention of giving it a moment’s rest.

Just as it was about to reach the dragon, the red dragon suddenly opened its massive, bloody maw, and a stream of scorching flames erupted, engulfing the white armor.

However, the white armor quickly emerged from the flames completely unharmed, as if its armor had strong anti-magic properties.

The red dragon had no time to react. It was struck by the white armor’s punch and crashed onto the ground, kicking up a large cloud of dust.

Seeing the red dragon constantly taking a beating, Charlotte, who was flying nearby, couldn’t help but look astonished.

She couldn’t believe the white armor’s combat strength was so exaggerated. Not only was its power immense, but its speed was also incredibly fast.

Fortunately, after Lillian transformed into a red dragon, her HP had increased significantly. Despite the white armor’s continuous attacks, the red dragon hadn’t sustained any fatal injuries.

However, the red dragon, with its pure brute force, was utterly helpless against the white armor.

‘As expected of a senior figure from the Rose Knight Order! Even after a thousand years, her combat strength hasn’t diminished at all.’

Although she felt bad letting Lillian continue to take a beating, to quickly stop Yuffie’s Soul-Revival Magic, she had no choice but to let Lillian try her best to stall the white armor.

Thinking this, Charlotte made up her mind and sped toward Yuffie.

“Yuffie! It’s not too late to stop now! Stop your insane plan! Soul-Revival Magic is not something you can control in your current state!”

During her flight, Charlotte continuously launched minor spells, attempting to distract Yuffie.

But Yuffie remained completely unaffected.

If she could convince Yuffie with words, that would be ideal.

However, Yuffie seemed to have already made up her mind and was completely unmoved by Charlotte’s plea for surrender.

“Senior Charlotte, have you ever lost a brother?”

“Huh?”

Charlotte was momentarily confused by Yuffie’s sudden, unexpected question.

If she were to answer honestly, she hadn’t lost a brother. Instead, she had died once as a brother.

“Do you know what it feels like to watch your brother lose his life before your eyes, completely helpless? Thinking back now, ah, I wish it was me who died back then! Why did I survive, and why did the brother who saved me die? Why, why, why?”

At this point, Yuffie’s emotions seemed to be completely out of control. She hugged herself, trembling non-stop.

Charlotte was about to respond, but suddenly, two massive magic circles lit up on either side of her.

Countless lightning beams burst from the magic circles, weaving into a giant net that trapped Charlotte.

Yuffie, as if completely corrupted, plunged her emotions into the pit of despair again.

“It’s all my fault that my brother died! So, no matter what, I must bring him back! This is the one thing I must dedicate all my strength to! Senior, you will not stop me!”

“I see. So you’ve been living under such heavy psychological pressure all this time, Yuffie?”

Charlotte’s voice suddenly rang out from inside the lightning net.

Hearing the voice, Yuffie looked utterly shocked.

In the blink of an eye, the lightning net completely exploded, and Charlotte stood there, holding her broomstick, as if surrounded by a shield, standing calmly in mid-air.

“I can understand your pain. After all, separation by life and death is the most unbearable pain for a human. However, that does not give you the right to act recklessly and harm others!”

Seeing Charlotte appear safely in front of her, Yuffie looked completely incredulous. She swung her wand, summoning another lightning net that quickly converged on Charlotte.

However, Charlotte merely waved her broomstick lightly, dissipating the lightning net into dust.

“How can this be?” Yuffie was shocked and stumbled back slightly.

Seeing that Yuffie was helpless against her, Charlotte once again mounted her broomstick and dove towards Yuffie.

“No matter how hard you try with the wrong methods, you’ll never get the right answer! Yuffie, snap out of it and rethink your life!”

With this booming shout, Charlotte quickly charged to Yuffie’s side.

Charlotte had already prepared a Binding Spell. If she could successfully touch Yuffie, she could immediately strip Yuffie of her ability to use magic.

However, the moment Charlotte was about to reach Yuffie, Yuffie let out a high-pitched shriek.

“Ah————”

And the next second, the white armor suddenly flashed out in front of Yuffie and brutally kicked Charlotte.

Although Charlotte managed to raise her right hand to block in time, the white armor’s kick still sent her flying twenty meters backward.
