Chapter 93: The Strongest Witch in History vs the Strongest Witch of the Modern Age

“The formerly strongest witch? Who is that?” Yukina asked casually.

She wasn’t interested in who used to be the ruler of the other world.

Of course, for her, while eating dinner, this was good conversation fodder.

Before Charlotte could answer, Yukina mentally listed a few candidate witches.

‘Rhynes retired, but it’s only natural that she’d return to be the strongest witch to encourage Charlotte’s growth, right?’

‘It’s plausible that Mashiro became the strongest witch through her relentless effort, right?’

‘As the Academy Head of the Starsea Magic Academy, calling Noelle the strongest witch in history would be well-deserved, right?’

However, when Charlotte spoke the name “Kaf Yelenna,” Yukina was stunned, and her eating stopped.

“Who is that?” Yukina was absolutely sure she had never heard of a character like that in her Charlotte’s Bizarre Adventure.

But since she hadn’t finished the entire adventure yet, it was only natural that some important characters hadn’t appeared.

“The Starsea Magic Academy’s First Instructor, Kaf Yelenna, the Witch of the Void.”

Saying this, Charlotte waved her hand, and a transparent window floated in front of Yukina.

It showed a beautiful, middle-aged woman with long, deep purple hair.

Although she wore a magic robe on the outside, the white blouse underneath was severely strained, her buttons nearly popping off due to her overly endowed chest. Yet, she seemed completely unbothered.

Her eyes were as deep as the distant cosmos, but for some reason, they revealed an expression of doting affection, like a mother looking at her precious daughter.

Yukina had to admit, the moment she saw this woman who looked very much like Kafka, she couldn’t suppress the urge to call her “Mommy” like a junior student.

“Is this the strongest witch? What powerful destructive force.” Yukina said reluctantly, covering her nose, which was about to bleed.

“You feel it too, Yukina? The intense miasma and spiritual pressure she exudes are probably stronger than any other witch you’ve met,” Charlotte said, shrugging.

“This is beyond what any witch should be capable of,” Yukina said faintly.

“I’ve spent some time with Instructor Kaf. She feels like a black hole that can devour everything and turn it all into her own power,” Charlotte said after thinking for a moment.

“A black hole that devours everything?” Yukina’s eyebrow twitched.

That was certainly a fitting description for the title of “strongest witch.”

“Mhm. Instructor Kaf is a very unique person.” Charlotte smiled.

“Instructor Kaf is the only person who can unleash powerful magical power from her body without using a magic wand.”

“How is that possible?” Yukina exclaimed.

“Witches must use a magic wand to cast spells!”

“Indeed, that has always been an unsolved mystery at the Starsea Magic Academy,” Charlotte nodded.

“But that’s not the most unique thing about her.”

“The most unique thing about her? What else is unique about her?” Yukina asked.

“Mhm, as far as I know, Instructor Kaf has been living at the Starsea Magic Academy since she can remember,” Charlotte said with a smile.

“She has lived at the academy since she can remember?” Yukina found that hard to believe.

“Mhm, and she’s never left.” Charlotte said. “It’s said that she has read almost all the books in the Starsea Magic Academy’s library.”

“Her control over magic is terrifying. No matter what spell I use, she can instantly counter it with an appropriate spell, as if she can read my mind. It’s truly ridiculous! Although, in the end, she said I was more skilled and let me pass the exam.”

At this point, Charlotte stopped eating and began to passionately recount how the opponent had forced her into a desperate struggle, leading to her near defeat before she was finally declared the victor.

Of course, rather than using verbose and flowery language, Charlotte preferred a more direct and violent method of presentation.

“This massive scene can’t be explained in just a few words. You should just watch it!”

The moment the words left her mouth, a Molotov cocktail shattered onto their dinner table. Instantly, flames shot up, and the entire room was engulfed in fire.

After a brief silence, Charlotte, wearing her witch’s uniform, jumped out of the flames. She was covered in dirt, and her magic robe had many burnt spots.

She stared angrily at the woman not far in front of her, who was only wearing a white shirt on her upper body, its buttons nearly popping off due to her dream-filled, massive breasts.

That woman was Charlotte’s opponent in this fight, Kaf Yelenna, the Witch of the Void.

If she could defeat her, she would earn the title of Star Witch and become one of the few top-tier titled witches in the other world.

However, because the title of Star Witch was special and carried immense significance, that woman was chosen to be her opponent for this test.

After all, only one witch in history had ever held the title of Star Witch the first witch, Shera Hirakami, who was active a thousand years ago.

After Shera’s death, the title was sealed, and no one dared to challenge the peak throne of the Star Witch.

Now, Charlotte was the witch who had gathered the courage to challenge the limit, and the First Instructor, the ultimate supporter, was the hurdle Charlotte had to overcome.

Nevertheless, since Kaf was the Witch of the Void who had steadily held the top instructor position for eighteen years after Rhynes, her strength far surpassed that of the Rhynes of the past.

The tide of the battle was completely in her firm control.

No matter what move Charlotte used, she could instantly unleash a counter-spell to completely dismantle the attack.

Although she couldn’t use magic chantlessly like Charlotte, nor could she use high-speed casting like Master Chloe, she could instantly cast the counter-spell as if she knew which spell Charlotte would use and had already prepared the incantation.

Even with her absolute advantage in magical power, the opponent possessed a unique Void Magic that could reduce the power of her spells to a certain limit, making it futile for Charlotte to consume more magical power to increase her spells’ power.

Because of this, Charlotte was at an absolute disadvantage from the start of the fight, and reversing the situation was urgent.

She had just thrown a Molotov cocktail at Kaf, but a barrier suddenly appeared in front of Kaf, reflecting the Molotov cocktail back at her.

It landed at her feet. If she hadn’t been wearing a magic robe that greatly reduced the effect of magic, her own Molotov cocktail would have instantly fried her to a crisp, turning her into the world’s most delicious child.

Compared to the desperate Charlotte, Kaf, standing opposite her, looked completely at ease. She was like a Boundary-breaker, who was already sure of victory.

She had even taken off her magic robe, fighting the fully-armed Charlotte in just a sweat-soaked white shirt.

Through the sweat-soaked white shirt, the black lace bra underneath was clearly visible. Her two large, black-sesame-cream-filled buns constantly swung with the fighting, putting strange pressure on Charlotte.

‘What a troublesome woman!’

Charlotte, feeling the pressure, silently cursed her.

‘Damn it, how can I defeat that woman?’

A bead of sweat, a symbol of the difficult situation, dripped from Charlotte’s forehead.

Seeing Charlotte’s offense slow down, the woman opposite her tilted her head and looked at Charlotte playfully with her deep, black-hole-like eyes.

Her tone was flirtatious, as if the small, cute, moving white-haired loli before her was a small toy that wouldn’t break no matter how much she played with it.

“Oh? Is that all you’ve got? I haven’t had enough fun yet!”

“Who said I’m done? I still have a lot of magical power left!” Charlotte immediately retorted defiantly.

“But you look like you’ve run out of strength already!” Kaf pointed at Charlotte’s trembling legs.

Having her true state exposed, Charlotte’s pupils instantly contracted.

“But that’s okay. Big sister won’t blame you. Since little sister Charlotte is out of strength, I’ll take the initiative and help you enjoy the fun of this battle!”

Saying this, Kaf waved her wand, drawing a musical score full of rhythm in front of her, like a conductor leading a massive orchestra.

Instantly, a dazzling array of magic circles appeared around Charlotte.

Fire, ice mist, sandstorm, shattered rocks—all sorts of attacks converged, mixing like a chemistry experiment. A cloud of blue-green smoke spread outward after the explosion.

However, the next second, the smoke suddenly stopped dissipating.

Kaf’s movement of swinging her wand froze, and not only that, but all the witches watching from the distant audience seats were also silenced, not making a sound.

It was as if time had been frozen at that moment.

“Hmm?” Charlotte, eating rice in her school uniform, noticed the abnormality and looked back.

She saw Yukina pressing the pause button on the memory playback, slapping her hands on the table, and glaring at her angrily.

“Brother, when you play back a memory, can’t you pick a better place for me to watch?”

Yukina hadn’t intended to watch a scene more intense and exciting than an FGO battle. But her young brother had set the viewing coordinates right in the middle of the battlefield.

Who could understand the horror of a Molotov cocktail suddenly exploding in your face while you’re eating dinner?

The scene scared Yukina so badly that she fell onto the floor, nearly screaming at the top of her lungs.
