Join the ServerThe red dragon rampaged inside the abandoned factory, relentlessly spewing high-temperature flames capable of completely melting steel. As the red dragon continued its destruction, numerous steel bars fell from the ceiling, but they seemed as weightless as feathers when they landed behind the dragon, vanishing into nothingness in the blink of an eye.
Witnessing such a shocking scene while being carried like a sack of grain, Yukina couldn’t help but exclaim in wonder.
“What a magnificent sight!”
Although she had seen this scene many times in Charlotte’s memories, observing the emergence of a giant dragon from such a close distance still filled her with awe; it was far more thrilling than watching a movie in a theater.
Yukina stared blankly at the scene for a moment, then suddenly turned to complain to Charlotte.
“By the way, brother, couldn’t you have carried me away in a bridal carry? What’s with running around with me over your shoulder like this?”
“No, that’s only because you’re too tall, Yukina! Imagine someone as big as you curled up in my tiny embrace—can you even picture it? Would it really look acceptable?”
Yukina imagined the scene for a moment. If she were held in a bridal carry by Charlotte, given their height difference, she would probably look like someone sitting awkwardly in a basketball hoop—her posture would definitely be distorted.
She couldn’t help but agree with Charlotte’s explanation, but she quickly came to a realization.
“That’s only because you’re too short! You spent fifteen years in another world and yet you’re not even as tall as a winter melon in the market. Don’t try to pin the blame on me!”
Soon, Charlotte burst out of the abandoned factory with Yukina on her shoulder, leaping onto the open ground outside.
After setting Yukina down, Charlotte wiped the sweat from her forehead.
“Should be safe here, right?”
“Safe, for now. But don’t forget there are a lot of people outside!”
The fire raging inside the abandoned factory had already attracted a crowd of onlookers. They gathered in small groups across the street, many unable to resist taking pictures of the factory with their phones.
Fortunately, the red dragon was still deep within the lowest levels of the factory and hadn’t been noticed by the passersby.
But if the red dragon were allowed to continue its destruction, it would only be a matter of time before it was discovered.
“Looks like I need to finish this quickly! Yukina, wait here for a moment. I’ll rescue Lillian right away!”
With that, Charlotte ran back toward the blazing abandoned factory.
Yukina wanted to stop her, but it was already too late.
Charlotte had already transformed her clothes back into her original witch’s robe without a word. A magic broomstick appeared from nowhere, and Charlotte mounted it, flying into the abandoned factory without looking back.
Watching Charlotte’s departing figure, Yukina’s brow furrowed slightly.
“Hey, don’t just change your outfit in public! What if someone sees you?”

The red dragon before them continued to spew high-temperature flames in all directions.
Sakurako Aya watched this scene, nearly dazed.
She was utterly confused. Why would such a massive fire dragon suddenly appear in her hideout? Was this abandoned factory some kind of legendary dragon pit? Would a boss dragon spawn here once the timer ran out?
Wait, this wasn’t League of Legends; how could a monster from a game appear in the real world?
In her shock, Aya suddenly noticed a familiar figure lying beneath the rubble nearby.
She hurried over and pulled Qin Shion out from the ruins.
Fortunately, Shion hadn’t lost any limbs in the recent catastrophe; she only had a few minor injuries.
“Hey, Shion, how are you? What just happened? Where did this dragon come from?”
At Aya’s call, Shion, who had a sliver of consciousness remaining, weakly raised her right hand and pointed toward the red dragon.
“That thing… is Lillian…”
After saying this, Shion fainted in Aya’s arms.
“Eh?” Hearing Shion’s answer, Aya’s face filled with disbelief. She found it hard to believe that such a massive red dragon was actually Lillian. Was Lillian the successor to some dragon-man power?
Unable to understand, Aya frantically shook the Shion in her arms.
“Shion, Shion! Wake up! Explain yourself! Is that thing really Lillian?”
“Agh, you’re so annoying! I’m severely injured, can’t you just let me rest?”
The previously unconscious Shion suddenly opened her eyes and shouted at Aya; clearly, she still had plenty of energy left.
“The house is on fire and you’re thinking about resting!”
As they bickered, the red dragon seemed to notice them. It suddenly turned around, opened its massive maw toward them, and a stream of scorching fire erupted.
“Hey! What are you just standing there for? Use your Gravity Manipulation and think of something!” Shion, whose mind-reading was useless in such a crisis, shouted at Aya.
Seeing the danger, Aya was about to use her power to change the direction of her own gravity to escape the factory when a sharp pain shot through her ankle. Her ankle had been sliced by a piece of broken rebar at some point.
The intense pain caused Aya to pause reflexively. By the time she prepared to endure the pain and flee, the scorching flames were already upon them; it was too late to run.
However, at this critical moment, a pillar of ice suddenly descended from the sky and slammed into the ground in front of them.
When the scorching flames hit the ice pillar, they miraculously reflected back like a crashing wave.
Before they could even react, countless ice pillars began falling from above, one after another, landing fifty meters away from the red dragon and forming a massive circle that trapped the dragon inside and suppressed the spread of the flames.
Witnessing this, Aya and Shion were dumbfounded.
“Eh? What on earth is…”
There were no Espers in their organization who could use ice.
So where did these ice pillars come from?
“Look over there!” Just then, Shion pointed behind the red dragon and shouted.
Aya quickly looked in the direction Shion was pointing and saw a familiar white figure behind the red dragon, riding a broomstick and flying around the dragon like a fly.
“Eh? Isn’t that…”
Without a doubt, that petite white figure was Charlotte, the girl they had used every ounce of their strength to fight and could only take down with sleeping black tea.
But strangely, the blue-and-white school uniform she had been wearing had vanished, replaced by a magic robe and a pointed magic hat. If not for the existence of the reality-defying red dragon before them, they would have assumed Charlotte had taken a break to change her outfit.
“What is she doing?”
“Maybe she’s fighting?”
