Five years ago, when Charlotte defeated the azure evil dragon and decided to take Lillian back to Tsumuguri City with her, Charlotte had placed a ruby ring into Lillian’s hand.
“The Red Dragon Clan experiences a draconic transformation urge almost every month.”

Noticing that the ruby ring on her right hand had suddenly shattered for no reason, Lillian’s face instantly filled with shock.

In her shock, Lillian suddenly recalled that during her scuffle with Yukina earlier, Yukina had thrown the broken half of her wooden sword at her, and Lillian had casually swatted it away.
‘Could the ring have been damaged then?’
Lillian stared at Yukina beside her in disbelief.
Yukina was clearly just an ordinary human; she didn’t possess magical powers like Lady Charlotte, so how could she have managed to shatter the ruby ring with a single blow?
But Lillian didn’t have time to ponder these questions; she hurriedly pushed Charlotte away, stumbling back two steps as her body began to curl up uncontrollably.
“Lillian, what’s wrong all of a sudden?” Charlotte, not yet realizing what had happened, asked with confusion.
“Lady Charlotte… quickly take Lady Yukina and leave this place…”
“I’m about to lose control.” Lillian shouted the warning through gritted teeth, using every ounce of her strength.
“Lose control?” Hearing this, Charlotte suddenly noticed that the ruby ring originally on Lillian’s right hand was gone, and she immediately realized what was about to happen. She spun around, picked Yukina up, and leaped toward the upper floors without another word.
“Eh?” Suddenly being carried off like a sack of grain, Yukina was bewildered. “What’s happening? Why are you carrying me off? Why are we leaving Lillian behind? Brother, say something!”
“It’s because Lillian is about to transform into a massive red dragon! You’ve seen her transformed state before, haven’t you!”
“What? Transformation? Now? Here? Are you serious?”
“There’s no time to explain! We have to get out of here right now!”
Charlotte sprinted toward the factory’s exit with Yukina over her shoulder.
Seeing Charlotte and Yukina abandon Lillian and flee in a panic, Qin Shion, standing nearby, couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
She walked over to the curled-up Lillian, who was slumped on the floor.
“See? What did I tell you? They’re just liars who will abandon you at the first sign of trouble. They aren’t worth trusting.”
“We’re different; we will never leave you, no matter what happens!”
Seemingly believing that Charlotte and Yukina had simply abandoned Lillian, Qin Shion completely failed to grasp the severity of the situation.
Actually, Shion had already used her mind-reading ability to pick up on Lillian’s thoughts, but she didn’t understand what a “draconic transformation” actually was.
Lillian, whose sanity was on the brink of collapse, used the last of her strength to warn Shion.
“Lady Shion… get away from me… quickly…”
Lillian raised her right hand, attempting to drive away the reckless mind-reader, but in the next instant, her right hand began to swell rapidly. As if sprinkled with bone meal, it grew unnaturally large, transforming into a massive dragon claw covered in scales.
This sight gave Shion a massive fright, and she collapsed onto the floor.
“Lillian… your hand…”
It wasn’t just Lillian’s right hand that was changing; her entire body began to expand rapidly. Soon she was no longer human-shaped, her skin becoming increasingly hot. As her body swelled, the floor beneath her began to emit massive amounts of steam, as if it were being melted away.
Witnessing such a shocking scene, Shion was paralyzed with terror. She scrambled up and fled the scene, screaming at the top of her lungs.
Unable to suppress the intense destructive urge within her, Lillian let out a roar toward the sky, and a colossal red dragon suddenly appeared at the bottom of the abandoned factory.
A searing shockwave rapidly spread in all directions, instantly destroying all the walls in its path. Shion, who hadn’t managed to escape yet, was sent flying by the heatwave.
In the secret base at the bottom of the factory, Sakurako Aya was still sitting at the computer, annoyed because the cameras had lost their signal and she couldn’t see the feed. She was completely unaware that danger was imminent.
‘The cameras Shion set up are too low-quality; they lose signal so easily. I’ll have to make her buy better ones.’
While Aya was muttering to herself, all the lights in the room suddenly went out. This didn’t feel like a normal power outage, leaving her confused.
It wasn’t just the lights; a powerful tremor followed, causing Aya to stand up from her chair.
“Eh? An earthquake?”
As she spoke, the surrounding walls and floor crumbled and collapsed. Countless pieces of rubble swept in, smashing the computer in front of Aya to bits.
“Hey! That setup cost Shion twenty thousand yuan!”
Seeing such good equipment destroyed, even salvaging it would be a problem.
But now was not the time to worry about such things. The floor had been torn apart, and before Aya could react, she was pinned beneath the rubble falling from above.
Fortunately, Aya used her Gravity Manipulation just in time to control the debris on top of her, avoiding being crushed to death.
When she crawled out from the ruins, she was met with a scene that left her in absolute shock.
An exceptionally massive red dragon was rampaging through the abandoned factory before her, with countless flames burning fiercely around it.
Aya stared at the sight, frozen. For a moment, she wondered if she had forgotten to take off her VR headset, given how reality-defying the image was.
Once she confirmed that what was happening was indeed a living reality, Aya couldn’t help but exclaim.
“My god! Where the hell am I? Is this still Earth?”
